tip of the day: stay plugged in!

When using power tools during a project try this little time saving tip when connecting to an extension cord.  Take the end of the extension cord and the plug end of the cord connected to the power tool being used and before plugging together, tie a simple overhand knot in the cord and then plug the ends together.  When pulling or tugging happens during the project the knot should help keep your device plugged in.  Disclaimer: always make sure when using power tools that require electricity to be safe.  Be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to recommended safety guidelines of both the equipment and use of electrical power.  Here’s a short video demonstrating the tip.
