tip of the day: tune it up!

By now most everyone that maintains their own yards have had an opportunity to break out the lawn equipment and hopefully, you didn't wait till the last minute to make sure everything was in good working order.  After being stored for the winter (although much of my lawn equipment often gets year round use), here's one very simple tip.  Change the spark plug.  If you don't already know, check the manufacturer's recommendation and pick one up at your local hardware store.  Tough to start equipment can often be repaired in just a few minutes by doing this.  When installing the new plug, make sure not to over tighten, but make sure it's a snug fit.  This simple fix can save you hours of frustration trying to get your equipment running, so you can spend more time enjoying your landscape...
